] Rae of Darkness
BACKSTORY:

] It's Hallow-eve, making it the double-eve of All Saints, as well as being the hooligan holiday, Devil's Night. (Thankfully the latter is being curbed by a volunteer event referred to as Angel's Night.) None of that has anything at all to do with today's strip.

] It seems Rae and Skye have house duty, and get to pass out candy. Hopefully they won't have to deal with the apparently disturbed extra who seems to have designs upon "The Baroness".

] One may wonder why Cobra would employ a mercenary master of disguise when The Baroness herself seems to be a capable disguise artist, and in fact, the standard Cobra Officers and Vehicle Drivers are qualified masters of disguise! Anyway, The Baroness has disguised herself as Lady Jaye in at least one cartoon, the fourth figure for Lady Jaye (who is herself a master of disguise) features a complete Baroness disguise, and the seventh figure for Zartan features masks for both Duke and Flint (though he still refuses to change his clothes, which makes the whole thing kind of surreal).

]I guess with Zartan, Hasbro wants you to pretend. The mask isn't just a mask, it's an invocation of his complete master of disguise skill, and it's supposed to represent a declared choice of disguise. You pretend the actual disguise is there in the same way that you're supposed to pretend you can't see a LARPing Nosferatu if his arms are crossed over his chest. (I feel so nerdy for revealing LARP knowledge.)
